चितामारोप्य तं प्रेतं हुनेदाज्याहुतिं ततः / यमाय चान्तकायेति मृत्यवे ब्रह्मणे तथा

citāmāropya taṃ pretaṃ hunedājyāhutiṃ tataḥ / yamāya cāntakāyeti mṛtyave brahmaṇe tathā

ដាក់ព្រេតនោះឡើងលើចិតា (គំនរឈើបុណ្យសព) ហើយបូជាអាហូតិឃីចូលក្នុងភ្លើង។ បន្ទាប់មក អំពាវនាវថា «សម្រាប់យម» និង «សម្រាប់អន្តក» ហើយដូចគ្នានោះ បូជាសម្រាប់ «ម្រឹត្យុ» និងសម្រាប់ «ព្រហ្មា» ផងដែរ។
