रजसा कुण्ठमनस: कामात्मानोऽजितेन्द्रिया: । पितृन् यजन्त्यनुदिनं गृहेष्वभिरताशया: ॥ १७ ॥

rajasā kuṇṭha-manasaḥ kāmātmāno ’jitendriyāḥ pitṝn yajanty anudinaṁ gṛheṣv abhiratāśayāḥ

ដោយរុញច្រានដោយរាជស (គុណរាជស) ពួកគេមានចិត្តកង្វល់ ត្រូវកាមគ្រប់គ្រង និងមិនអាចគ្រប់គ្រងអង្គអារម្មណ៍បាន។ ដោយសង្ឃឹមជាប់ពាក់នឹងគ្រួសារ ពួកគេបូជាបិត្របុព្វបុរសរាល់ថ្ងៃ ហើយរវល់ថ្ងៃយប់ដើម្បីលើកស្ទួយសេដ្ឋកិច្ចគ្រួសារ សង្គម ឬជាតិ។
