FAQs

This verse frames the close of Kali-yuga as a decisive threshold where a preserved teaching is to be restated, emphasizing continuity of dharma through cyclical time.

By presenting the message as something that must be spoken again to a future recipient, Parāśara highlights an intentional chain of remembrance—knowledge is handed forward even when yugas decline.

Though Vishnu is not named in this single line, the Vishnu Purana’s dynastic and yuga narratives ultimately serve Vishnu’s sovereignty over time—history and prophecy unfold within his cosmic order.
