हरेः पुत्रविस्तारः तथा ऊषानिरुद्धकथा-प्रारम्भः

उषा बाणसुता विप्र पार्वतीं सह शम्भुना क्रीडन्तीम् उपलक्ष्योच्चैः स्पृहां चक्रे तदाश्रयाम्
uṣā bāṇasutā vipra pārvatīṃ saha śambhunā krīḍantīm upalakṣyoccaiḥ spṛhāṃ cakre tadāśrayām
ブラーフマナよ、バーナの娘ウーシャーは、シャンブと共に戯れるパールヴァティーを見て、そのような庇護に満ちた親密さと伴侶を強く希い求めた。
