このように命じられた守護者たちは赴き、聞いたとおりを舎脂に告げた。すると舎脂は、三十三神の主たる夫を奮い立たせ、断乎たる行動へと促した。
Sage Parāśara (narrating to Maitreya)
It shows how divine sovereignty is sustained not only by power but by right counsel and resolve—Śacī functions as the catalyst that restores Indra’s determination to protect cosmic order.
Parāśara presents a chain of transmission—guards report “as said” (yathoditam), emphasizing accuracy in counsel and how decisions in the deva realm arise from reliable testimony.
Even in deva-centered episodes, the Purāṇa frames governance and victory as ultimately aligned with Vishnu’s supreme order—Indra’s authority is functional and contingent within the higher sovereignty of the Supreme Reality.
