एवम् आज्ञापयानं तु प्रहस्य मधुसूदनः उत्प्लुत्यारुह्य तं मञ्चं कंसं जग्राह वेगतः
evam ājñāpayānaṃ tu prahasya madhusūdanaḥ utplutyāruhya taṃ mañcaṃ kaṃsaṃ jagrāha vegataḥ
かくしてカンサが命令を下していたとき、マドゥスーダナたる聖なるクリシュナは静かな微笑をたたえ、跳び上がって壇に登り、疾風のごとくカンサを捕らえた。
Sage Parāśara (narrating to Maitreya)
Avatara: Krishna
Purpose: To remove Kaṃsa and other adharma-bearing forces, protecting the Yādavas and restoring righteous rule in Mathurā.
Leela: Yuddha
Dharma Restored: Removal of tyrannical kingship and protection of the Lord’s devotees.
Vishnu Form: Krishna
It marks the turning point where divine authority directly overthrows adharma, restoring rightful order and fulfilling the purpose of the avatāra.
Parāśara narrates it as a swift, inevitable act of the Lord—Krishna’s calm smile and sudden movement emphasize controlled sovereignty rather than mere human combat.
Krishna, identified by the epithet Madhusūdana, acts as the Supreme Protector whose līlā subdues tyranny and re-establishes dharma, aligning history with cosmic order.
