ततस्तु कुटुला ऋद्धा ब्रह्माणं प्राह नारद तथा यतिष्ये भगवन् यता शार्वं सुदुर्द्धरम्

tatastu kuṭulā ṛddhā brahmāṇaṃ prāha nārada tathā yatiṣye bhagavan yatā śārvaṃ sudurddharam

そのとき繁栄に恵まれたクトゥラーは、ブラフマーに向かって――おおナーラダよ――言った。「主よ、きわめて担い難いシャールヴァ(シヴァ)の威力を保てるよう、私はそのように精進いたします。」
