FAQs

Knowledge is to be given ‘tattvena’—accurately and responsibly—and received by one with śrotum-adhikāra (fitness to hear). The verse emphasizes disciplined transmission rather than sensational narration.

Still within Vaṃśānucarita / episodic narration: it introduces a descriptive catalogue embedded in the larger conflict narrative. It is not sarga/pratisarga, but supportive narrative material within the Purāṇic history of beings.

The shift from Deva vāhanas to Dānava vāhanas balances the cosmology: both dharma and adharma manifest through identifiable ‘carriers.’ The teacher’s insistence on order (yathāvat) symbolizes that even complex realities can be mapped and understood.
