Procedure for the Earthen Liṅga Worship

Transliteration

manunā saujīva iti devatānyāsamācaret | asau yovasarpatīti cācaredapasarpaṇam

Translation

マヌにより説かれた「saujīva」で始まる真言によって、身に諸神を安置するデーヴァター・ニャーサ（devatā-nyāsa）を行うべきである。次いで「asau yo ’vasarpatī…」の句により、アパサルパナ（apasarpaṇa）を修して障りの力を追い払い、シヴァの礼拝が妨げなく進むようにする。
