विष्णुरुवाच । प्रिये पश्याब्जनयने धन्यासि सुभगेऽनघे । धन्योऽहं देवि सुश्रोणि यत्पश्यावो जगत्पतिम्

ヴィシュヌは言った。「愛しき者よ—見よ、蓮華の眼の君よ。吉祥にして罪なき淑女よ、汝はまことに幸いである。麗しき腰の女神よ、われもまた幸いだ。われらは宇宙の主を拝したのだから。」

It emphasizes Saguna Śiva—God encountered as the visible “Lord of the universe.” In Purāṇic Shaiva practice, such darśana is accessed through devotion and Linga-upāsanā, where the Linga serves as the sacred focus for receiving Śiva’s presence and grace.
The takeaway is to seek darśana through bhakti: perform Śiva-pūjā (especially Linga worship) with mantra-japa such as the Pañcākṣarī “Om Namaḥ Śivāya,” supported by purity and auspicious conduct, which the verse highlights as the condition of being “anagha” (untainted).
