そこで、思いがけず現れたガンダルヴァの乙女が、その父によってまことに彼に授けられた。彼はそのガンダルヴァの娘を娶り、国を「棘なきもの」—障りも苦患もない国—とした。

The verse presents dharmic order returning through a rightful marriage and righteous rule—symbolizing how, by alignment with dharma under Shiva’s overarching sovereignty, life becomes “akaṇṭaka,” free from inner and outer obstacles.
Though the Linga is not named here, the Śiva Purāṇa frames worldly harmony as sustained by Saguna Shiva’s governance of the cosmos; devotion to Shiva supports dharma, which in turn yields stability and obstacle-free living.
A practical takeaway is to seek obstacle-removal through Shiva-upāsanā—daily japa of the Pañcākṣarī (“Om Namaḥ Śivāya”) with a dharmic life of self-restraint and right conduct.
