यदि ब्रह्मेन्द्रविष्ण्वाद्या वारयेयुः समेत्य माम् । तथाप्यस्मिन् क्षणे भद्रे प्रविशामि त्यजाम्यसून्
yadi brahmendraviṣṇvādyā vārayeyuḥ sametya mām | tathāpyasmin kṣaṇe bhadre praviśāmi tyajāmyasūn
「たとえブラフマー、インドラ、ヴィシュヌら諸神が集い、私を止めようとも、それでもこの瞬間、吉祥なる者よ、私はその決意に入り、命の息を捨てよう。」
A determined devotee/character addressing a revered woman (bhadre) within the Śatarudrasaṃhitā narrative (as narrated in the Purāṇic frame by Sūta).

Significance: The verse models prapatti (total surrender) and vairāgya; such single-pointed resolve is praised as a direct means to Śiva’s grace (anugraha) that loosens pāśa (bondage).
It highlights unshakable niścaya (firm inner resolve): when devotion and renunciation become mature, even the highest worldly or celestial authorities cannot divert the seeker from the chosen spiritual course, pointing toward surrender to Pati (Śiva) as the supreme refuge.
The verse embodies single-pointed commitment (ekāgratā) that fuels Saguna Śiva worship—approaching Śiva through Linga-upāsanā with steadfastness, where the devotee’s vow is not negotiable even before great devas.
It suggests dhṛti (steadfastness) in sādhana: maintain daily japa of the Pañcākṣarī “Om Namaḥ Śivāya,” and keep disciplined vrata-like consistency (optionally with bhasma/tripuṇḍra and rudrākṣa) without being swayed by obstacles or opinions.
