सूत उवाच । इत्येवं च मिषं कृत्वा सुष्वाप पुरुषस्तदा । तद्वृत्तमखिलं ज्ञातुमद्भुतं विस्मयावहम्
sūta uvāca | ityevaṃ ca miṣaṃ kṛtvā suṣvāpa puruṣastadā | tadvṛttamakhilaṃ jñātumadbhutaṃ vismayāvaham
スータは言った。かくして彼は口実をこしらえ、その時横たわって眠りについた。驚異に満ち、人を深く驚かせる一切の成り行きを知ろうとしたのである。
