अग्नेरग्रेऽक्षिपत्पुष्पद्वयं विप्रो ह्यतंद्रितः । मनसा दक्षिणं पुष्पं तन्मेने पुत्रकामदम्
agneragre'kṣipatpuṣpadvayaṃ vipro hyataṃdritaḥ | manasā dakṣiṇaṃ puṣpaṃ tanmene putrakāmadam
聖なる火の前で、怠りなき婆羅門はただちに二輪の花を投じた。彼は心中、右の花を「子を授ける恩寵を与えるもの」と見なした。
