The verse marks an unmistakably auspicious epiphany: cosmic nature and the devas respond with celebration, indicating that Shiva’s grace (anugraha) is present and that devotion to Pati overcomes worldly bonds (pāśa).
The shower of flowers and divine drums are classic Purāṇic signs that accompany Saguna Shiva’s manifest presence—often connected in Kotirudra narratives to Jyotirlinga glory—affirming that the Linga is a worshipful, grace-bearing form accessible to devotees.
Offer flowers with the Panchakshara mantra (“Om Namaḥ Śivāya”) and maintain bhakti-filled remembrance; this mirrors the devas’ reverent response and is especially fitting for Jyotirlinga worship and Mahāśivarātri pūjā.
