Description of Śiva Meditation and Worship
पञ्चाध्वव्यापिनं तस्मात्कलापञ्चकविग्रहम् । ईशानमुकुटं देवम्पुरुषाख्यम्पुरातनम्
pañcādhvavyāpinaṃ tasmātkalāpañcakavigraham | īśānamukuṭaṃ devampuruṣākhyampurātanam
ゆえに彼は、五つの道(pañcādhvā)に遍満する神であり、五つのカラー(kalā)より成る身として顕れる。イーシャーナ(Īśāna)を冠として戴く、プルシャ(Puruṣa)と呼ばれる太古の主である。

It identifies Shiva as Pati—the primordial Puruṣa—who fully pervades the entire structure of reality (the pañcādhvā) and yet remains the supreme head (Īśāna). In Shaiva Siddhanta, this frames liberation as knowing the Lord who transcends bondage while governing all categories of experience.
By describing Shiva with attributes—form made of five kalās and crowned with Īśāna—it supports Saguna contemplation used in Linga worship: the devotee meditates on the Lord’s manifest powers while recognizing that the same Lord pervades all tattvas and paths of manifestation.
Meditate on Shiva as Īśāna at the crown (śikhā/crown-center) while chanting the Pañcākṣarī (Om Namaḥ Śivāya), contemplating that the Lord pervades all five adhvā-s; this integrates mantra-japa with tattva-vicāra (discrimination of categories) for moksha-oriented worship.
