Suta Goswami (narrative colophon concluding the chapter as recited to the sages at Naimiṣāraṇya)
This is a chapter-colophon marking completion of a teaching unit: it highlights that the Kailāsa-saṃhitā treats disciplined renunciation (saṃnyāsa) and ritual order as supports for purification and liberation under Śiva as Pati (the Lord).
Though it is not a direct Linga-stuti, the title indicates regulated Shaiva practice—creating a consecrated space (maṇḍala) for worship and contemplation—through which Saguna Śiva-upāsanā matures toward realization of Śiva’s transcendent nature.
It points to the saṃnyāsa-maṇḍala-vidhi: establishing a sacred ritual space for renunciant practice, typically aligned with Shaiva observances such as mantra-japa (often the Pañcākṣarī) and purity disciplines (e.g., bhasma/Tripuṇḍra and contemplative restraint) as taught in the wider Purāṇic Shaiva tradition.
