Lord Shiva
Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Sadāśiva
Mantra: (bīja described as) caturdaśa-svara-upetaṃ bindu-nāda-vibhūṣitam
Shakti Form: Pārvatī
Role: liberating
It teaches that mantra is not mere sound but a sacred, structured vibration—completed by vowels and refined by bindu and nāda—meant to be placed in the lotus-center of consciousness, guiding the devotee toward Shiva (Pati) through disciplined inner worship.
By instructing the devotee to inscribe the seed-mantra in a lotus diagram, the verse supports saguna-upasana through mantra and yantra—external and internal supports that focus devotion on Shiva’s manifest presence, ultimately opening toward his transcendent nature.
A mantra-yantra practice: write/visualize the prescribed Shiva seed-mantra, complete with vowels and bindu-nāda markers, at the lotus center (padma-madhya) and meditate on it as part of Shiva worship and japa-dhyana.
