Aindra victory-invocation: Indra summoned as the fierce, far-ranging protector who smites foes and grants Soma-born prosperity
Indra
Vīra (heroic) and rakṣoghna (protective) with a brief mahimā (magnificatory) uplift in the solar praise
Ṛṣi attribution is not given in the input and requires concordance to the corresponding Ṛgvedic sources for each mantra; this dashati likely draws from multiple RV loci (Indra and Sūrya praises).
Mantra 1
Mantra 2
Mantra 3
It summons Indra as a fierce protector who comes from afar, strikes down enemies, and ensures the Soma-presser and yajamāna receive prosperity such as cattle and horses.
Sūrya is praised as the vast, unassailable light and ‘foremost’ among the gods—supporting cosmic order and auspicious clarity around the rite, complementing Indra’s protective power.
It is martial symbolism for Indra’s cutting, decisive force (vajra-like edge). In ritual reading, it means Indra is armed to remove obstacles and protect the sacrifice from hostile forces.
