インドラ＝アグニの黎明招請。曙光・太陽・火を朝の祭儀の時標として宇宙の覚醒を告げ、アシュヴィン双神の戦車の迅速な来臨と救援を願う。サヴィトリのプラサヴァ（万事を正しく促す衝動）が諸活動と祭祀を起動し、インドラ＝アグニは二神でありながら一つの力として、ヴリトラを討ち砦を破り、ただ一つの業（ekena karmaṇā）によってvāja（力・糧・勝利）を授ける。

तोशा वृत्रहणा हुवे सजित्वानापराजिता इन्द्राग्नी वाजसातमा
感謝の讃歌をもって、ヴリトラを討つインドラとアグニを我は招く。常に勝利し、征服されず、糧と力を最も豊かに授ける御者たちを。

यद्युञ्जाथे वृषणमश्विना रथं घृतेन नो मधुना क्षत्रमुक्षतम् अस्माकं ब्रह्म पृतनासु जिन्वतं वयं धना शूरसाता भजेमहि
アシュヴィン双神よ、雄々しき戦車を御して結ぶとき、ギーと蜜とで我らの威力を潤したまえ。戦いの中にて我らのブラフマン（brahma）の祈りを励まし、我らが富を分かち得んことを—勇士の勝ち取る賞与を。

अर्वाङ्त्रिचक्रो मधुवाहनो रथो जीराश्वो अश्विनोर्यातु सुष्टुतः त्रिवन्धुरो मघवा विश्वसौभगः शं न आ वक्षद्द्विपदे चतुष्पदे .
アシュヴィンの三輪にして蜜を運ぶ車よ、俊馬に曳かれ、善く讃えられて此方へ来たれ。三座の車、施与の主、遍き吉祥を具え—二足にも四足にも、我らに安寧を運び来たらせ。
