काकुत्स्थस्य शोकनिग्रहः—सुग्रीवसान्त्वनम्
Rama’s Grief Restrained—Sugriva’s Consolation
एवमेकान्तसम्पृक्तौ ततस्तौ नरवानरौ।उभावन्योन्यसदृशं सुखं दुःखमभाषताम्।।
evam ekāntasampṛktau tataḥ tau naravānarau | ubhau anyonyasadṛśaṃ sukhaṃ duḥkham abhāṣatām ||
かくして、二人きりで会った人間と猿は語り合い、互いにふさわしい形で喜びと悲しみを分かち合った。
Man and monkey then met privately and shared the weal and woe of one another.
Dharma of relationship and counsel: private, respectful dialogue builds right understanding, enabling righteous cooperation.
After the pledge and reassurance, Rāma and Sugrīva withdraw for a private conversation and exchange personal accounts of suffering and hope.
Mutual respect and empathy—each listens and speaks in a way appropriate to the other, strengthening their bond.
