पञ्चषष्टितमः सर्गः — वानराणां प्लवन-पराक्रम-निरूपणम्

न हि प्रेषयिता तात स्वामी प्रेष्यः कथञ्चन।भवताऽयं जनस्सर्वः प्रेष्यः प्लवगसत्तम।।4.65.22।।
na hi preṣayitā tāta svāmī preṣyaḥ kathañcana |
bhavatā ’yaṃ janaḥ sarvaḥ preṣyaḥ plavagasattama ||
命ずる者、すなわち主君が、いかなる場合も使いに出されるべきではない、愛しき者よ。むしろ、跳躍の最勝者よ、この一同こそあなたが派遣すべきである。
