सूर्यानुगमनवृत्तान्तः
The Account of Following the Sun
भगवन्व्रणयुक्तत्वाल्लज्जया व्याकुलेन्द्रियः।परिश्रान्तो न शक्नोमि वचनं परिभाषितुम्।।।।
bhagavan vraṇayuktatvāl lajjayā vyākulendriyaḥ | pariśrānto na śaknomi vacanaṃ paribhāṣitum ||
尊き御方よ、身は傷を負い、恥により感官は乱れ、疲労も極まっております。ゆえに返答の言葉を口にできません。
'Much sweat, pain and fear generated in us while we went on and up. This led to terrific confusion and stupor.
Dharma here is truthful self-disclosure with humility: Sampāti does not pretend strength or composure, but honestly admits his wounded condition and shame.
Sampāti, injured and weakened, addresses a revered listener and explains why he cannot properly respond or speak at length.
Humility and honesty—acknowledging limitation rather than boasting or deceiving.
