jaṭāyuṣo yadi bhrātā śrutaṃ te gaditaṃ mayā | ākhyāhi yadi jānāsi nilayaṃ tasya rakṣasaḥ || 4.58.9 ||
もし汝がまことにジャターユの兄弟なら、我が言葉を聞いたはずだ。知っているなら、あの羅刹(ラークシャサ)の住処を告げよ。

Dharma as purposeful truth-seeking: Aṅgada’s question channels emotion into a righteous goal—finding the wrongdoer’s location to restore justice.
Aṅgada asks Sampāti for concrete intelligence—where the rākṣasa (Rāvaṇa) lives—so the search for Sītā can proceed.
Discernment and mission-focus: Aṅgada prioritizes actionable truth over lamentation or speculation.
