अङ्गदस्य प्रायोपवेशननिश्चयः
Angada’s Resolve to Fast unto Death
तस्य संविशतस्तत्र रुदन्तो वानरर्षभाः।।।।नयनेभ्यः प्रमुमुचुरुष्णं वै वारि दुःखिताः।
tasya saṃviśatas tatra rudanto vānararṣabhāḥ |
nayanebhyaḥ pramumucur uṣṇaṃ vai vāri duḥkhitāḥ ||
彼がそこに横たわると、悲嘆に沈む猿族(ヴァーナラ)の勇士たちは泣き、眼から熱い涙をこぼした。
Seeing him lie down the bulls among the monkeys became sad and shed hot tears from their eyes.

The leaders among the vānaras react emotionally as Angada lies down to begin fasting unto death.
