Svayamprabha’s Dialogue with the Vanaras
अगस्त्यचरितामाशां दक्षिणां यमरक्षिताम्।सहैभिर्वानरैर्घोरैरङ्गदप्रमुखैर्वयम्।।।।रावणं सहितास्सर्वे राक्षसं कामरूपिणम्।सीतया सह वैदेह्या मार्गध्वमिति चोदिताः।।।।
agastyacaritām āśāṃ dakṣiṇāṃ yamarakṣitām | sahaibhir vānarair ghorair aṅgadapramukhair vayam || rāvaṇaṃ sahitāḥ sarve rākṣasaṃ kāmarūpiṇam | sītayā saha vaidehyā mārgadhvam iti coditāḥ ||
我らは、アンガダを先頭に、この猛きヴァーナラたちと共に、アガスティヤが踏み行き、ヤマが守護する南方へ遣わされた。そして命ぜられたのだ――「ヴァイデーヒー・シーターを捜し、変幻自在の羅刹ラーヴァナをも求めよ」と。
