हनूमत्प्रशंसा–अङ्गुलीयकप्रदानम्
Praise of Hanumān and the Gift of the Signet Ring
अतिबल बलमाश्रितस्तवाहंहरिवरविक्रम विक्रमैरनल्पैः।पवनसुत यथाऽभिगम्यते साजनकसुता हनुमं स्तथा कुरुष्व।।4.44.17।।
atibala balam āśritas tavāhaṃ harivaravikrama vikramair analpaiḥ | pavanasuta yathā 'bhigamyate sā janakasutā hanuman tathā kuruṣva || 4.44.17 ||
「汝はこの上なく強き者、ヴァーナラの中の最勇者、無量の武勲に名高き者よ。風神の子ハヌマーンよ、われは汝の力に寄り頼む。ジャナカの娘に到り、見出し得るように、そのように行え。」
Sugriva, king of the monkeys, spoke, highly pleased, to Hanuman, the warrior son of the Wind-god advancing towards him:
Dharma is wholehearted commitment to a just rescue: strength and valor are to be used in the service of protecting righteousness and restoring what is right.
Rāma formally charges Hanumān to use his full capability to reach and find Sītā.
Hanumān’s śakti (strength) and vikrama (heroic initiative) directed toward compassionate, righteous action.
