Transliteration

tatas sandiśya sugrīvaḥ śvaśuraṃ paścimāṃ diśam | vīraṃ śatavaliṃ nāma vānaraṃ vānararṣabhaḥ ||

Translation

そののち、猿の中の最勝者スグリーヴァは、岳父を西の方角へ遣わし、名をシャタヴァリという勇なる猿に語りかけた。
