निस्वनं चक्रवाकानां निशम्य नहचारिणाम्।पुण्डरीकविशालाक्षी कथमेषा भविष्यति।।
nisvanaṃ cakravākānāṃ niśamya nahacāriṇām |
puṇḍarīkaviśālākṣī katham eṣā bhaviṣyati ||4.30.10||
天空を翔けるチャクラヴァーカ鳥の鳴き声を聞き、私は思う――白蓮のように清らかで大きな眼をもつ彼女は、あのような伴侶がもはや傍らにない今、いかに過ごしているのだろうか。
