'Enter the city and get yourself installed and cheer your friends. Make all arrangement for killing Ravana when the month of Kartika begins as it is the proper time (for the purpose).
Dharma as disciplined commitment: rightful action requires proper timing, preparation, and keeping one’s pledged duty to allies.
Rāma permits Sugrīva to return to Kiṣkindhā, be installed as king, and prepare resources for the campaign against Rāvaṇa at the appropriate season.
Rāma’s strategic prudence joined with steadfast purpose (niścaya) toward the just goal of ending Rāvaṇa’s wrongdoing.
