Vali’s Final Counsel and the Succession Charge
यदेषा साध्विति ब्रूयात्कार्यं तन्मुक्तसंशयम्।न हि तारामतं किञ्चिदन्यथा परिवर्तते।।
yad eṣā sādhv iti brūyāt kāryaṃ tan mukta-saṃśayam | na hi tārā-mataṃ kiñcid anyathā parivartate ||
彼女が「善し」と言うことは、疑いなく成し遂げよ。タ―ラーの判断は、ほんのわずかも他に転ずることがない。
'Tara's opinion is never wrong. It does not change. Whatever she speaks is right and should be carried out without any doubt.
Dharma of truthful, reliable counsel: a ruler should act on sound advice, and honoring proven wisdom sustains righteous governance.
In his final counsel, Vāli instructs Sugrīva to rely on Tārā’s judgment as a stable guide for the kingdom and Angada’s welfare.
Integrity and discernment (satya-buddhi): Tārā’s consistent right judgment is presented as dependable and unerring.
