ततश्शाखामृगास्सर्वे प्लवमाना महाबलाः।बभञ्जुश्च नगांस्तत्र पुष्पितान्दुर्गसंश्रितान्।।
tataḥ śākhā-mṛgāḥ sarve plavamānā mahā-balāḥ | babhañjuś ca nagāṃs tatra puṣpitān durga-saṃśritān ||
そのとき枝に住む力強き猿たちは、跳びはねながら、険しい高み沿いに咲き誇る木々をそこで折り砕いた。
Then the mighty monkeys jumping on the trees in full bloom shook them.
Indirectly, it contrasts raw strength with restraint: power without discipline can become disruptive, a recurring ethical theme in the epic.
The monkeys on the mountain are in vigorous motion, shaking and breaking blossoming trees in the area.
Collective vigor and might—though the verse also hints at the need to govern strength wisely.
