Rama’s Justification to Vali on Rājadharma

एवमुक्तस्तु रामेण वाली प्रव्यथितो भृशम्।।न दोषं राघवे दध्यौ धर्मेऽधिगतनिश्चयः।

Transliteration

evam uktaḥ tu rāmeṇa vālī pravyathito bhṛśam | na doṣaṃ rāghave dadhyau dharme ’dhigataniścayaḥ ||

Translation

ラーマにこのように告げられて、ヴァーリーはひどく胸を痛めた。だがダルマの確信を得ると、ラグハヴァに何の過ちも見いださなかった。
