नारद उवाच । तिलधेनुं च यो दद्याद्ब्राह्मणे वेदपारगे । ससागरा नवद्वीपा दत्ता भवति मेदिनी

ナーラダは言った。「ヴェーダに通暁したブラーフマナに、ティラデーヌ(tiladhenu)――『胡麻の牝牛』――を施す者は、海と九つのドヴィーパを備えた大地そのものを布施したのと等しい。」
