FAQs

Sincere, non-deceptive service (aśāṭhya) especially through attending upon the dvijas (Brahmins) and related duties (śuśrūṣaṇā-ādikā).

The verse suggests moral uplift is possible through sincere conduct and service; one’s past social identity does not prevent ethical transformation over time.

It is in the Sṛṣṭikhaṇḍa (Book 1), which is more narrative and dharma-oriented; explicit Vaishnava philosophical emphasis is more characteristic of later sections like the Uttara-khaṇḍa, though devotion and service themes can appear here as well.
