ब्राह्मणेन सदा त्याज्यं नीचसेवानुजीवनम् । आपद्गतोऽपि जीवेत न श्ववृत्त्या कदाचन

brāhmaṇena sadā tyājyaṃ nīcasevānujīvanam | āpadgato'pi jīveta na śvavṛttyā kadācana

バラモンは常に、卑しい者に仕えて得る生計を捨てるべきである。たとえ災厄に遭っても生き抜け、決していかなる時も犬のような生き方をしてはならない。
