तं प्रयांतं पतिं श्रेष्ठं नयनैर्निमिषोज्झितैः । विलोकयामास तदा पतिव्रतपरायणा

taṃ prayāṃtaṃ patiṃ śreṣṭhaṃ nayanairnimiṣojjhitaiḥ | vilokayāmāsa tadā pativrataparāyaṇā

そのとき貞節の誓いにひたすら身を捧げる妻は、立ち去る優れた夫を、まばたきすらせぬ眼差しで見つめ続けた。
