Sandhi Resolution Notes:
“Pitāmaha” (Grandfather) is a common epithet for Brahmā, whom Nārada addresses while requesting the account.
The verse highlights śravaṇa (devotional hearing): Nārada seeks liberation/attainment of Viṣṇu’s supreme abode through hearing the māhātmya (sacred greatness).
It refers to Viṣṇu’s highest state or supreme abode—often understood in Vaiṣṇava contexts as the transcendent realm attained through devotion and divine grace.
