जित्वा त्रिगर्तान्‌ संग्रामे गाश्नैवादाय सर्वशः । अशोभत महाराज सहपार्थ: श्रिया वृत:,महाराज! संग्राममें त्रिगर्तोॉंको हराकर सम्पूर्ण गौएँ वापस ले विजयलक्ष्मीसे सम्पन्न महाराज विराट कुन्तीपुत्रोंके साथ बड़ी शोभा पाने लगे

Transliteration

Vaiśampāyana uvāca | jitvā trigartān saṅgrāme gāś caivādāya sarvaśaḥ | aśobhat mahārāja sahapārthaḥ śriyā vṛtaḥ ||

Translation

ヴァイシャンパーヤナは語った。「大王よ、戦場でトリガルタ族を打ち破り、牛の群れをことごとく取り戻したのち、ヴィラータ王はパールタたちを伴い、勝利の栄光に包まれて輝いた。」
