Educational Q&A

The verse highlights the kṣatriya ethic of steadfastness: a righteous warrior signals readiness openly, strengthening allies and unsettling aggressors. The conch’s far-reaching sound symbolizes public commitment to duty and the moral clarity of standing firm against hostility.

Vaiśampāyana narrates that Arjuna (Pārtha) again takes up his great conch and blows it powerfully. Its thunderous resonance spreads through all directions, sky, and earth, serving as a dramatic announcement of his presence and readiness to confront enemies.
