Adhyāya 61: Saṃmohana-astra and the Kuru Withdrawal (संमोहनास्त्रं तथा कुरुनिवृत्तिः)
राजपुत्रो$सि भद्रे ते कुले मत्स्यस्य विश्रुते । जातत्त्वं शत्रुदमने नावसीदितुमरहसि
arjuna uvāca | rājaputro 'si bhadre te kule matsyasya viśrute | jātastvaṃ śatrudamane nāvasīditum arhasi |
アルジュナは言った。「王子よ、そなたに祝福あれ。そなたはマツヤ王の名高き王統に生まれた。ゆえに、敵を屈せしめるべきこの時に、気弱さに沈んではならぬ。そなたは敵を打ち砕き得る者だ——だから勇気を固め、戦車に乗り、戦いのただ中で我が馬をしっかりと御せよ。」
