Chapter 58: Arjuna’s Deployment of the Indra-Weapon

tasya bāṇamayaṁ varṣaṁ śalabhānām ivāyatim | dṛṣṭvā te vismitāḥ sarve sādhu sādhv ity apūjayan |

Educational Q&A

Excellence in action (śaurya and kauśala) naturally earns recognition; even amid conflict, fair-minded warriors can honor remarkable skill, reflecting a kṣatriya ideal of respecting prowess and valor.

A warrior unleashes an extraordinary, far-spreading rain of arrows, compared to a locust swarm; the assembled soldiers, amazed by the display, acclaim him aloud with “sādhu, sādhu.”
