Droṇa–Pārtha Strategic Engagement
ददृशुस्ते ध्वजाग्रं वै शुश्रुवुश्ष महास्वनम् । दोधूयमानस्य भृशं गाण्डीवस्थ च निः:स्वनम्
dadṛśus te dhvajāgraṃ vai śuśruvuś ca mahāsvanam | dodhūyamānasya bhṛśaṃ gāṇḍīvasya ca niḥsvanam ||
ヴァイシャンパーヤナは言った。「彼らは高くそびえる旗の頂を見、轟然たる咆哮を聞いた――さらに、力強く揺さぶられたガーンディーヴァの弦が放つ、鋭く響き渡る鳴りも耳にした。その光景と音は、恐るべき戦士の到来を告げ、迫り来る戦いの確実さで戦場を揺り動かした。」
