वैशम्पायन उवाच
Even in adversity, one should act with foresight and restraint: safeguarding powerful resources (like weapons) responsibly, minimizing harm and loss, and preserving readiness for dharmic action when required.
The narrator describes how the weapons are hidden in a place protected from direct rainfall (because rain falls obliquely there), and then tied up tightly with strong ropes so they remain secure and undamaged.
