Dhaumya’s Counsel on Incognito Conduct in a Royal Household (राजवसतौ आचरण-निति)
तेषां समिध्य तानग्नीन् मन्त्रवच्च जुहाव सः । समृद्धिवृद्धिलाभाय पृथिवीविजयाय च,पाण्डवोंकी अग्निहोत्रसम्बन्धी अग्निको प्रज्वलित करके उन्होंने उनकी समृद्धि, वृद्धि, राज्यलाभ तथा पृथ्वीपर विजय-प्राप्तिके लिये वेदमन्त्र पढ़कर होम किया
teṣāṁ samidhya tān agnīn mantravac ca juhāva saḥ | samṛddhi-vṛddhi-lābhāya pṛthivī-vijayāya ca ||
ヴァイシャンパーヤナは語った。彼は彼らのためにその聖なる火を燃え立たせ、ヴェーダの真言を唱えて供物を捧げ、繁栄と増進、正当な王権の獲得、そして大地における勝利を願った。この行いは、成功がただの武力ではなく、規律ある祭式と正しい志、聖なる秩序への敬虔な合致の果であることを示している。
