इस प्रकार श्रीमहाभारत विराटप्वके अन्तर्गत गोहरणपर्वमें उत्तर दिशासे गौओंके अपहरण के प्रसंगमें उत्तरके आश्वासनसे सम्बन्ध रखनेवाला अड़तीसवाँ अध्याय पूरा हुआ
Iti prakāraṃ Śrīmahābhārate Virāṭaparvaṇi antargate Goharaṇaparvaṇi uttaradiśaḥ gāvo'pakaraṇaprasange Uttarasya āśvāsanena sambandhaṃ rakṣamāṇaḥ aṣṭatriṃśattamo'dhyāyaḥ samāptaḥ.
かくして『シュリー・マハーバーラタ』の「ヴィラータ・パルヴァ」中、とりわけ「ゴーハラナ(牛奪い)」の小段において、牛が北方へ奪い去られた出来事と王子ウッタラの励ましに関わる第三十八章は終わる。
वैशम्पायन उवाच
