Arjuna’s Self-Identification and the Ten Names
Uttara–Arjuna Saṃvāda
महादेवो<पि पार्थेन श्रूयते युधि तोषित: । किरातवेषप्रच्छन्नो गिरौ हिमवति प्रभु:,“सुना जाता है, हिमालय पर्वतपर किरातवेशमें छिपे हुए साक्षात् भगवान् शंकरको भी अर्जुनने युद्धमें संतुष्ट किया था"
mahādevo ’pi pārthena śrūyate yudhi toṣitaḥ | kirātaveṣa-pracchanno girau himavati prabhuḥ ||
ヴァイシャンパーヤナは言った。「聞くところによれば、ヒマヴァトの山において、キラータの狩人の姿に身を隠して現れた大自在天（マハーデーヴァ）その御方さえ、戦いのうちにパールタ（アルジュナ）を嘉し給うたという。」
