Transliteration

yat tu śakyam ihāsmābhis tān vai sañcintya pāṇḍavān | buddhyā prayukta na drohāt pravakṣyāmi nibodha tat ||

Translation

ヴァイシャンパーヤナは言った。「パーンダヴァたちのことをつぶさに思案したうえで、ここで我らに可能と思われる策――理を正しく用いたときに示される道――を語ろう。敵意からではなく、汝の益のために言うのだ。心して聞け。」
