अहं होतावुभौ ब्रह्मन् कृष्णावरिविघातिनौ । अभिजानामि विक्रान्तौ तथा व्यास: प्रतापवान्,“विप्रवर! मैं इन दोनों कृष्णनामधारी वीरोंको शत्रुओंका संहार करनेमें समर्थ और महापराक्रमी समझता हूँ। महाप्रतापी वेदव्यासजीकी भी यही धारणा है
ahaṃ hotāvubhau brahman kṛṣṇāvarivighātinau | abhijānāmi vikrāntau tathā vyāsaḥ pratāpavān ||
ヴァイシャンパーヤナは言った。「おお、婆羅門よ。『クリシュナ』の名を持つこの二人の勇士はいずれも、敵を討ち滅ぼし得る者だと私は知っている。彼らは大いなる武勇の人であり、威力あるヴィヤーサもまた同じ確信を抱いている。」
