दक्षिणदिशि तीर्थवर्णनम्
Southern Tīrthas: Godāvarī to Dvāravatī
विविधानाश्रमान् कांश्रिद् द्विजातिभ्य: प्रतिश्रुतान् । सरांसि सरितश्नैव रमणीयांश्व॒ पर्वतान्
vividhān āśramān kāṁścid dvijātibhyaḥ pratiśrutān | sarāṁsi saritaś caiva ramaṇīyāṁś ca parvatān ||
ヴァイシャンパーヤナは言った。彼はさまざまな庵（アーシュラマ）を指し示した——そのうち幾つかは「二度生まれし者」（ドヴィジャ）に約され、あるいは割り当てられていた——また湖や川、そして心を和ませる山々も示した。この語りは、学識ある者への約束を慎重に尊び、生命を支える聖なる地勢を敬虔に描き定めることを強調している。
